  1. Bud/ Howard…. you are truly the best manager I ever had, You always, always made me feel so much more confident than I really was! I always will respect you and learn from the teachings/lessons you gave me! I know how much your family meant to you, as you always understood how much my boy meant to me!! Thank you for your guidance and friendship!!! Rest with your brother and the angels, my friend!

  2. Hi Bud….. I was sad to learn of your passing. I hope that you knew that I thought of you as the best manager I ever had but also as a beautiful human being. You were humble and gracious and always positive. It was my priviledge to work with you at PS and I am better for knowing you. Buds family… I am sorry for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that this man you called family was the most amazing human being that God ever made. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this time…
Bud RIP….. You served Him well. Debbie Daly

  3. My heart goes out to Bud’s family on their loss of a truly nice man. I worked with him at the LA Times for three years and always enjoyed kibitzing with him before those many horrendous downtown meetings we were forcd to attend. Class is a trait he never lacked.

  4. I had the opportunity to work with Bud on the management team at the Pennysaver while we were both Regional Sales Managers. His business acumen but more importantly his kindness way impacted me and all those who had the honor and pleasure of working with him. I know how he loved his family and my sincerest sympathies go out to each of you. Bud, you always will be the definition of a gentleman, a class act who will be missed by all.
